The Omdurman guns

The Omdurman guns guard the entrance to the Museum.

Wheelchairs  The museum displays are situated on two floors. A wheelchair and stair lift is available for visitors use.  
Toilets
Wheelchair-accessible toilet and baby changing facilities are located on the ground floor.

Car Parking
There is limited free car parking on site for visitors to Winchester’s Military Museums only. Please follow the signs and/or ask the Museum staff for advice on where to park. An alternative is to use Park and Ride alighting at the Westgate stop.

Guide and Assistance Dogs
Guide and Assistance Dogs are welcome at the Museum. If you need further assistance please speak to a member of staff. We do have hearing impairment Induction loops at the Front Desk and various locations throughout the displays.

The shop is located near the museum entrance with a selection of souvenirs and gifts, including books, branded t-shirts, caps, key-fobs and mugs. Visit our online shop.

 

 

Café PeninsulaCafé 
For coffee, a light lunch or afternoon tea,  Joe’s Café can be found next door at the Guardroom Museum located on the right as you enter Peninsula Barracks. Open from 10am until 3pm Tuesdays to Saturdays and 10 until 4pm on Saturdays.

 

Hospitality
