This Horn Drinking Beaker is a recent acquisition to the Museum collection.
On Thursday 7th April 2016, the unveiling of a new display at The Royal Green Jackets (Rifles) Museum took place. The focus of the display is the Victoria Cross and medal group to Second Lieutenant G H Woolley, who was the first Territorial soldier to be awarded the VC during the First World War.

The Museum Chairman and Curator visited the Ministry of Defence on 15 October to receive a MOD Sanctuary Runners-Up Award for the best Heritage Project in 2015. This is the first time in the history of these awards dating back to 1991 that a military museum has received a Heritage Award.
